    • Please contact me to discuss the design and details of your custom artwork!
    • Pricing will be based on the estimated amount of time the tooling on your Falcon Traveler would take. We've set 5 levels of intricacy
      • Level 1, 1-2 hrs design and tooling
      • Level 2 , 2-3 hrs design and tooling
      • Level 3, 3-4 hrs design and tooling
      • Level 4, 4-5 hrs design and tooling
      • Level 5, 5 or more hrs design andtooling
    • All tooled TN's are hand tooled and therefore no 2 will be exactly the same
    • Tooling does not include the dye or paint job for the notebook unless specifically agreed upon.
    • By submitting a picture, customer declares to have the rights and/or permission to use the image for this purpose.
    • The submitted image will be used as inspiration and though the tooling will be close to the submitted picture, it will not be an exact replica.
    • We reserve the right to reuse our original art from custom orders.

Awesome tooled and painted Chinese dragon!

I own several custom tooled and painted TNs made by the incredibly talented Monique so I did not worry she would pull it off again this time. Which she did (of course)! I love dragons and own several dragon TNs Monique made for me.

This time I wanted a Chinese dragon. I found a wonderful picture of a Chinese dragon as well as some old Chinese paintings of dragons. I sent these to Monique, asked her opinion about several things and decided on the final design. She posted several pictures of the work in progress. I was thrilled with what I saw but when I received my Chinese dragon, wow wow wow, it was even more beautiful IRL.

I can really recommend getting a custom made TN when you have some ideas on what you want. Monique is so skilled and talented. She helps you out when you have questions about the design which makes me feel valued as a customer.

In my opinion Falcon Travelers is the best TN maker, no doubt about it!

Prepare to get blown away

Before Monique started we had a little discussion via email to get an idea about the layout and specifications. Due to the advices and comments it was clear to me that I was working with someone who knows what she's talking about.
Ones all was discussed a price estimation was given.

My first shock was the low level of the price and estimated time to do the tooled design. When the cover arrived a second shock. How could they make such a gorgeous piece of art within the timeframe they mentioned and the price I payed.

Pen-Loop Add-On, Sewn

    • Upgrade your Traveler's Notebook leather Cover with a Sewn Pen-loop
    • Choose your style and placement from the drop down list
    • The staggered option is for 2 pen-loops, one in the front and one in the back of the notebook (staggered around the center of the notebook)
    • Keep in mind that an inward positioned pen-loop can interfere with your inserts
    • Sewn pen-loops are normally only used with either a stitching customization or a pockets customization, but can be done on Traveler's without either of these
    • The Sewn Pen-loops are sewn on after the sewing for the decorative stitching or pockets has been done. This means you can remove the pen loop without compromising the integrity of the stitching in case you want to change to a different color, size, or orientation.
    • If you have more than one Traveler in your shopping cart, please make sure to leave a note saying on which Notebook cover the pen-loop needs to go
    • The option for the matching pen-loop will match the outside of your cover
    • This listing is for 1 sewn Pen-Loop, or 2 in case of the staggered option

    • Please note: An XL add-on adds 2 cm to the spine of the notebook, this may affect the fold-over room of your trifold. This is because a trifold effectively has 2 spines! Please let us know where to apply the XL room.
